10 Costa Rican female referees are accusing Fifa instructor Patricia Miranda of sexual harassment and abuse of authority. 

For two decades players, referees and employees of the Haitian football federation were forced to have sex with visiting football officials. One of the visitors who accepted this “gift”, was the then Fifa president Sepp Blatter.

For more than a decade, officials from Concacaf and Fifa created a system where female referees had to give sexual favours in order to get international assignments.

At least six female referees have accused Rodolfo Sibrián for sexual harassement and sextortion. Despite the allegations, Sibrián is still a Fifa certified referee instructor at the El Salvador FA (FESFUT).

Hardly anyone batted an eyebrow when Fifa announced that a “normalisation committee” had been set up in Trinidad & Tobago. But the key question is: Could this be nothing but an act of revenge from Gianni Infantino?
