Today I feel like I’m from Zug, today I feel I’m living in Paris, today I feel like relaxing in Doha or eating at Joe’s on Miami Beach.

Gianni Infantino’s Fifa presidency comes with many perks. As the head of football’s global governing body, he crisscrosses the world in a Qatar Airways executive jet and meets heads of state. He gets chauffeured to banquets and sometimes enjoys police escorts – though not in Australia and New Zealand where Fifa’s requests for police escorts during the 2023 Women’s World Cup were declined.
From premium seats, he attends blockbuster football matches. The Fifa president is also a member of the International Olympic Committee and Infantino spent much of the summer attending the Olympic Games in Paris.
That’s not where Gianni Infantino’s benefits end. Documents obtained and reviewed by Josimar show that Fifa pays for Infantino’s apartments both in Zug and Paris.
The world governing body committed to covering the monthly rental fee of 7950 CHF (8405 euro) for his three-bedroom rooftop apartment in Zug, Switzerland.
With a population of around 30 000, the town of Zug serves as the capital of the German-speaking canton of the same name, located a 25-minute train ride south of Zurich.
